GETTING TO US

GETTING TO US
Where do I board the boat?
Town Quay, Terminal 2 SO14 2AQ, this is the next turning on the right after you have passed the entrance to the Red Funnel car ferry terminal if you are coming from West Quay Road. If you are approaching from the opposite direction past Ocean Village it will be the the turning before the Red Funnel Car ferry terminal. Once you enter terminal 2 head for the Hythe Ferry Berth which we also sail from. This terminal is fully undercover, passengers can be dropped off right outside the terminal as long as they arrive by car and not by coach. There is a coffee shop opposite the boarding point if you arrive early. Google maps is a great tool for finding the exact location of Terminal 2 as is Google Street View. If you are still unsure please email as before the date of your cruise and we will send off pictures to guide you.
When do I have to be there?
Please be ready to board 10 minutes before your sailing time.
Parking
There are 4 main car parks in the vicinity. Town Quay, Triangle Car Park, Mayflower Car Park & Gloucester Square Car Park which is off High Street and opposite Town Quay. Most car parks are now pay by phone or card.
Coaches
Drop off point is adjacent to Starbucks Cafe, (do NOT pass this point or you will be liable to fines) which is just inside Town Quay. Coaches are not allowed to go up to Terminal 2. Waiting time for coaches is no longer than 20 minutes. Coach parking can be found at Mayflower Park, Ocean Village, Ocean Way.
Card Payments
While we can take card payments on the boat the machines can sometimes be slow so bringing cash can be helpful for quick service.
Wheelchair Access
Manual wheelchairs can access the boat but you will need assistance for this and crew are not able to accommodate you due to Health & safety regulations. The boat has a flight of stairs to the upper deck but toilet facilities are situated on the lower deck.
